New Looney Tunes
Its not good if you're comparing it to the old Looney tunes , but I'd say compared to morning children's animation on the same channel, and to other horrid Looney tunes reboots ive seen, its good there's no plot its just bugs bunny gayer than hell foiling plans the whole time I can see they're trying to keep the cuts from being bad. , too. They're not entirely succeeding at this, but its the thought that counts. There's also no cringe attempt to make it wholesome and educational for children so far either Daffy ducks being chased by a polar bear and they jump on a block of sea ice and the polar bear gets to the edge of the ice and it breaks off and the bear keeps floating towards daffy and he's like " thanks global warming " ... They didn't try to copy or replicate the old art style either ... I was thinking about, of course a corp like WB will never allow bugs to rest. I immediately imagined a science fiction story : what will Looney tunes look like in the distant future when animation as a form of entertainment has become an antique ? WB is going to keep changing Looney tunes into a product even if animation is extinct. Bugs bunny has become multiple clones of a synthetic organism who are the property of WB . They don't have a show they're a kind of future entertainment product that's sort of similar to what wed call a social media influencer now. These bugs clones go out into the world and cause mayhem which is filmed and recorded by the people and synthoids around them in a kind of future version of tiktok. Bugs's "brand" earns WB social credit and ultimately attention where the corps want it to sell their ideas, agendas, and products. The scary part is that the Bugs "instances" are both partially organic and arguably sentient. The short story follows a specific Bugs instance who isn't causing enough mayhem and isn't garnering the level of attention deemed adequate by WB* and since he is ultimately just intellectual property he faces being "reprocessed" unless he can either get the attention needed to sell an adequate amount of advertisements ( essentially advertisements , the future version of ) or escape the clutches of Warner Bros.
*here wb is represented as a massive ancient hive mind who is also out of touch with the reality of life for newer organisms in the way an old corp now is out of touch with what's in
