Possum Bones is autistic. He has identified as a dirty kid in the past, and he’s attended multiple rainbow gatherings. He has several years left to serve in the Washington Correctional system.

He has been making art since he could sit up. He communicates better in writing than speech. If you are interested in the experience of an autistic person doing prison time, check out his Prison Blog. reprehensible

I watch cable TV because I'm in prison ... I get to hear commercials that they put on television which in 2025 are even more absurd and stupid than they were when I was a wee lad. " There's always something new under the sun " ... This is actually an abhorrent inversion of the truth. This phrase comes from Ecclesiastes, or maybe it was a common phrase in Rome and was jut borrowed by the author of the book, who's name I can hardly spell. Qoheleth ? Something like that. It should be, " There is nothing new under the sun " ... "nihil sub solus novum" ... To me this is uniquely disturbing to hear in a commercial. It mocks me the corporations are lying to me that I live in a rosy world of novelty. But the truth is, its all bread and circuses. Since ancient times there has been nothing new under Sol. This inversion of the ancient adage , to me, it encapsulates the falseness of this ... dome of consumerism. A glass window that I press my face to from the cold sidewalk of incarcerated America simultaneously I am disgusted by the delights that fatten the masses while people on the fringe suffer all manner of indignities ... yet also I can't help but on some level to lust for the contentment, the opulence ... the amenities created from the life force of the dispossessed and the bone meal of a dying planet ... " Dubba-dubba dubba-dubba dubba-dah " . All day long I'd biddy biddy bum. And yet ... The villainous wealth advertised only reinforces the original version of that saying, " There is nothing new under the sun " , and so this particular commercial is a poignantly repugnant eyesore of hypocrisy in my eyes . Tired eyes, no better off for this rote insight, no less a dog to be crushed under the hooves of the rich ... even as I scamper madly to suckle also at the golden teats of ancient greed. Truly ... reprehensible ...
