Eventually he learned that we needed witches to deal with the blasphemous horrors summoned by other witches and priests , and the one that just turn up. He wrote this treatise as a study of witchcraft and tried to make it condemning enough to stay in print ... but it was ( theres a b word for this ) censored and reprinted in 1690 and that's the version Duke Stone has. Kane disappeared in 1691. Most of the good stuff has been removed from this version ... The name of the Madstar Sultan, the spell that binds werewolves , the one that casts out devils, and the one that forges a blade to kill a witch or horror. " Sad to say " Kane writes " No true witch could have been killed by the methods usually used to execute suspected witches. Those were all innocent women.
