" You don't gotta lie to kick it "
I guess this isn't important , but here's another thing You know how you said people are scared to, for example, dance because they’ll be recorded and posted on today's equivalent of "Worldstarhiphop" ... That's an example. Those people who still have any status among credible society ... They’re worried about being seen doing some cringe things. The people in the shit class would just be glad they weren't arrested. ( or detained in some similar boondoggle ) ... This is tragic for those people, but this is an example of something that would annoy me. If some square films me doing something retarded , that's basically every day for me. I’m stupid and uncouth every day, and that's average. I think it’s called being real. Keeping it 100. You don't gotta lie to kick it. I get that it would suck in an actual logistical manner to become some cringe laughingstock, in terms of being talked to and delayed. But that’s stupid . Any of us , if we were popular with the kind of people that worry about this kind of thing , if those people were to continue to observe one of us we’d continue to do things they would gawk at, or just watch a sordid series of events any one of which would be a crisis if it happened for one of them. They'd find a world beyond their comprehension, as we would in theirs. The words they use and the world they created , participate in, care for, is a world that's known only to us by its condescension. An obstacle we occasionally brush against, a river of decency we must ford. Yes I know I'm already a spoiled shit drama queen, but I'm talking about the population I'm a part of , not myself. I actually used to filter myself a little bit more than now trying not to look stupid etc. I've learned I always say or do stupid shit. Cringe shit. There's no avoiding it, and so I don't try. That's my thing. For myself I've come up with this reckless maxim : In order to say something profound, you must also say something moronic. Foolish. Lacking in perspective. ... To say something insightful, poetic, wise, you must speak from your heart. But folly also comes from the heart. You can be afraid and safe, or you can be candid and risk indiscretion .
